I am Flavia, a specialist speech and language therapist.

I work with children, teenagers and also adults. 

The partnership between family and therapist is crucial to my work. Goals are decided, ensuring effective, tailored intervention which is relevant to loved one.

I always knew I wanted to help people, and what could be more important than being able to communicate effectively!

In 2005 I graduated from the Unipe University - Brazil with a degree in Speech and Language Therapy. I also have a PGce in Neuroscience & Neuropsychology from Birkbeck University of London in 2013. At moment I am studying my Masters in Language and Communication from City University of London. After working within a few different environments including mainstream schools, special schools and homes, I decided to set up my own therapy service. 

Working privately in so many different environments gave me a broad overview of different interventions and models of therapy. Setting up Fala Achievements allowed me the flexibility to provide high quality, evidence-based therapy to families.

I am a registered member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT), and Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice (ASLTIP).
